Important: buns! A proper hot dog should be cooked over a fire, then nestled ever so gently in a decent potato bun. My personal favorite, though, is the ones King’s Hawaiian makes. They can be hard to find, but they’re worth seeking out. Makes an evening around the campfire a delight.
