Heat like that basically makes the metal parts worthless. Everything warps and loses its structural integrity. There’s not much on that car that would be even half way functional if a salvage was attempted.

I’m not sure they’re going for “the best” in all those things. FPS ground shooter is fun, but it’s not as fluid as other dedicated FPS games, like CS, Halo, TitanFall, or Destiny.

It is obvious, but not for the reasons you think, and not because Apple hasn’t given us its master plan. Digital connectors have been around for decades (xlr). Lightning didn’t enable anything new that wasn’t available for 40 years, including digital processors and DAC’s.

You’re falling back on Apple’s hyperbole, and there’s nothing futuristic in the iPhone 7. The analog audio jack will outlive the Lightning jack.

I miss optical drives. I watch movies on Bluray all the time. And I always choose an ethernet connection over wifi if it’s available.

I’d convert the inner-courtyard at the new Apple campus into a short track. With a walkway over the track for pedestrians, it would be a cool racing perk none of the other companies could match.

If I had Apple’s bank account, I’d buy McLaren just on principal. I’d overpay, and feel no guilt what-so-ever.

Because he was nine, easily too young to comprehend the consequences of his actions, but old enough to vaguely remember.  And exposing him now would only serve to damage his current life, damage his character, fill him with fresh guilt in a very public forum.
