This is little more than an impulse buy. Let’s be frank.

Is “Latest” a full chronological feed?

A one-hit wonder to many people who only listened to whatever they heard of theirs on the radio, the same way people think The Flaming Lips was also a one-hit wonder. Mazzy Star had a ridiculously avid following (me among them) who knew that they had a bunch of great songs beyond Fade Into You, and who were willing to

Big cult following and Hope Sandoval still records and tours and sells a decent amount of records I’d imagine.

Iconic band for those of us of a certain age. Really captured the zeitgeist of the early 90s Alternative scene.

I miss lovely images as this from a President who had respect for science, for women, for dignity and integrity.

“Rockin’ in the Free World” is actually utterly appropriate for Trump, as it lists the woes that have befallen our society while everyone is more concerned about themselves. Despite its title, it’s not a celebration of freedom any more than “Born in the U.S.A.” is a pro-America flag-waver. And it makes perfect sense

I worked for a Nickelodeon subsidiary (or sister business unit... it’s hard to say) for several years. The website I worked on had ads and we CONSTANTLY had to complain to the ad networks we used when bad ads showed up. I do not think it is a waste of time to bust a scam that is nationwide and duping people into buying a product of a company who is running a supposed “contest”. The terrific Daily Beast article, which basically removes any need to watch this documentary, is here:

Fun fact: songwriter Greg Camp had the exact same experience when he got his wisdom teeth removed in 1998.

I’m not one for protests, but I am goddamned ready to take to the streets

I’m really not sure what this is all about - but it distracted me from the depressing scene going on in Congress for a few seconds, so well done.

Man these bad headlines suck.  The video, which is really cool,  was not about how Myst almost didn’t fit on a CD-ROM.  The problem was that at the time CD-ROMS were very slow and they didn’t know how the game would run on them or if it was even would be playable.  At the time they couldn’t just burn it onto a CD and

“Birds going batshit, and bats going apeshit.”

As we’ve stated before, vanity plates are largely unfunny and bad.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

She sounds like an excellent companion for someone who very much understands cats and who wants one with an extremely low maintenance profile.
