There’s a book about him, called The Radioactive Boy Scout, for anyone who wants a more in depth look at the story. It was written around 2000 or so, so it doesn’t cover the rather sad end of his life.
On a related note, one of the most notorious (and now valuable) toys was a 1950s kit made by Gilbert called the Atomic Energy Lab. It came with geiger counter, cloud chamber, spinthariscope and four kinds of uranium ore.

I literally saw this on Reddit earlier today with a real explanation for the photo. It’s an image generated to show the audience what it’s like to have a stroke, when your eyes perceive things as similar to things you know but you can’t recognize it.
This photo would make an amazing jigsaw puzzle.
Seems like a lot of people are mildly disturbed by this (or are at least feigning that they are) but I can’t stop giggling. My brain hurts in a delightful way.
I’m almost positive that it would be impossible to name one thing in this image due to the fact that it is not a real image. It looks like it’s an AI-generated image. Give an AI some base images to work with and it will create a version that has characteristics of all images. Some examples:
