I've been called 3 times in 20+ years being registered and twice I was chosen for a case. As far as I can tell, where I live it's pretty random. My wife got called in once in her life and wasn't chosen for a case.

Last year I served as a juror on a two week trial. I was thoroughly impressed with the 11 other jurors. Everyone seemed intelligent enough and were all able to talk through the issues at hand. Maybe that's an exception.

Honestly, they should have to read the entire contents of the bill so it's on record and no one can claim ignorance of what they passed. Not just this bill, but if citizens are expected to obey the laws, their congress people should at least know what they are voting on.
