To be fair, it’s not my Albertsons as I don’t live in Vegas. I’m pretty sure it can beat up my Ralph’s any day of the week as well!

I’m part of a study where they are trying figure this exact thing out. If you are over 40, you could qualify. It includes DNA testing so that’s a bonus. Fortunately for me, I’m in the every other year category.
Of course and the person that received it said, “nothing like a good piece of ass.”
I bought a groom’s cake for our rehearsal dinner from the Las Vegas Albertson’s. Not only did they bake it there, they did a custom job as I requested a red velvet armadillo a la Steel Magnolias. My then fiancé had joked about it before so I thought it would be fun...and it was. The cake was also pretty damn good and…
This was the cinnamon toast recipe in a child’s recipe book that I had as a kid*. Totally good and I think I might make it today.
*Note that I was a kid in the 70's/80's.
Suddenly a skit I saw on SNL last weekend makes a whole lot more sense now.
YES! More than once I have walked in the front doors and panicked because everything was out of order. “I can’t shop here!” The meat department is on the side?! THE SIDE!?
Cold fried chicken with a generous sprinkling of salt is the best. I don’t think I have ever attempted to reheat fried chicken.
At our market, you either start at produce or you start in the bakery. There are no middle doors. The funny thing is that no matter where I park, I always start to the left: bakery, deli, cheese kiosk. I simply cannot start on the right. It’s like writing with my left hand.

Omigod, do we have the same mother? She made her list in order of the aisles as well. She also knew the prices (or pretty close) so she could approximate her budget. All meals were planned on her notepad and then she developed her list from there. I still do that but I never put them in order. I always end up sending…
I saw DMX when he opened for Jay Z on the Hard Knock Tour back in the late 90's. My boyfriend told me that I shouldn’t be surprised when people left after DMX finished. Sure enough, after he was done, it seemed that half of Staples Center exited.

I didn’t read the article but plan to go back up and read it. However, I want to share the fact that my dad was vaccinated and 3 weeks later he collapsed for now reason and it turned out that he has covid. I imagine that if he had NOT been vaccinated, the symptoms may have been much worse.
I should note that I know that I can’t find the owner, but I am trying to confirm what the plate actually reads.
I was hoping to find some sort of open thread somewhere. We had some people break into our building and I have a somewhat fuzzy shot of the license plate. Does anyone know if any good look up tools where you can maybe look up a partial plate with make/model? I am fairly confident on the final 3 numbers but the first…
It said I was 38; I am, in fact, turning 49 in 2 weeks. I picked 11 items on the first page and 11 items on the second. Apparently, I like a lot of things.
How are macarons a young person thing? Those cookies have been around FOREVER.
So I don’t know about back then but in 2004 for non-union the daily rate for 8 hours was $52. $52*7*12=$4368
Same with me. I have been addressed as Mrs. Newburner from time to time, which I am always tempted to say is my mother, but whatever.
