I see what you're saying but I think if they added two production teams they would be fine. I don't know if Chris and Al have other duties for NBC or radio show stuff, but if NBC made the deal sweet enough, they could devote all their time (if not doing so right now) to the two shows.

I think they could get Al, Chris, etc to do both games. A big part of Deadspin's article was highlighting the storyline of each game, beyond the big name stars and QBs. You can always find a good story somewhere, its what good journalists do. SNF is almost like football mixed with a dash of investigative journalism.…

NBC should jump all over this. Sunday Night Football is one of the best things on TV (Remember that great write up about last year on Deadspin?), and their Thursday night line up sucks.
