The last Tales game I played was Phantasia II. Can’t even recall which system but likely GameCube. Was a fun romp. Loved the battle system. That was outdone only by Grandia II. Is this anywhere near that level? Or even Octopath Traveller.

The launch was pretty smooth I think. There were no lines, I got my console, Rogue Leader and Super Monkey Ball. Can’t say we share the same opinion of Monkey Ball. The multiplayer was superb. Rogue Leader was a technical masterpiece and a very good game.

Never played the series but I played Killer7 on GameCube. Never did drugs it my life, but that game sure felt like it.
