I’ll probably catch his finale, though, just to see if they do anything for it.

My first reaction: the writers haven’t come anywhere close to earning this yet, especially given how clunky this season has been. I guess we’ll see the Gorn or anything else resembling a main plot arc in Episode 10.

Not my story, but my Mother’s (and my Aunts). I have permission to relay.

It’s the 80s it’s Halloween on a weekday and I, being the oldest and a girl, am responsible for taking 2 younger brothers trick or treating, along with 2 young sons of my parents’ friends. My parents and the kids’ parents are at our house playing cards and and smoking cigarettes.

Some observations of themes so far this year:

It’s interesting to me how there are so few creepy actual people or stranger danger stories (don’t worry I saw you Machete Gang and yikes) so I get the vibe that a lot of the commentariat is still not all the way outside. I started an in-person job in April and have had

Yeah, if we’re counting only the first 3 seasons of AD, it bangs so hard that almost no show can remotely compete from that era.

The whole bit with John Slattery as Jack’s chosen presidential candidate was so horribly prescient.

“I do actually consider Arrested Development to be a different era,”

American Imperialism hater here: I don’t need a character in a situational comedy to qualify every statement without hating imperialism.

I do actually consider Arrested Development to be a different era, although not for any clear reason I could articulate. I was still in high school when it premiered, so maybe that’s why. On the whole, I do think the FOX seasons are equally good to 30 Rock, but I have to rule in favor of 7>3.

The Boba Fett stuff underscores how much of Star Wars lives in the audience’s imagination.

I think the cap has been modified so that is has a wider stream of sauce that looks better on the screen. If you look at the aperture of the red cap, it definitely seems to be a larger opening than the standard green cap. Thus Yelena can unleash a suitable fire hose of hot sauce on the macaroni. Well put.  Also:

Oh my god this math makes me freaking angry. None of this is how that works. All of the money paid to charity, all of the money paid to moderators, all of that gets deducted from taxes (NOT from net profits). If he is paying 75k to mods, and donating 80k to charity, then that means that his taxable income isn’t 300k,

To be fair, Wetterlund stresses that she’s not to be called a “survivor”, because she wasn’t sexually harrassed, instead had just a very, very bad experience on the show. She generally says that the male cast - with the sole exception of Jimmy O. Yang - were terrible people to work with, were rude to her and made for

I would normally agree with this position but she’s been proven right twice.

Jesus, the lack of empathy in these comments is ridiculous.

I’ve heard that what we currently have as artificial banana flavor in foods was based on the flavor profile of the Gros Michel, which is part of why that flavor seems so artificial now that we’re used to the flavor of the Cavendish.
