never advocate price rises, some will benefit most will change nothing and still do all the same things. Essentially you will pay more for the same problems, crunch isn’t a financial rewards problem it is an ethics/time management in the workplace problem.

As a Developer with ten years under his belt, I can only say that yes: I’m burned out. Yes: the industry needs to change. Yes: A big part of my own depression comes from having to work on micro-transaction-fueled games that always make me feel a little dirty; but also that I disagree with the main thesis. The industry

5,000 words is too long for a site like this, and for most sites. Although GMG does post features, even Nick Martin’s (excellent) piece on missing and murdered indigenous women and children was under 4,000 words. Unless you have substantial interviews with people, you should trim it down to 1-2k words.

Yes the teachers of the US clearly have to much money, power, and influence. That’s why they *checks notes* barely make a living wage.... huh.
I hate capitalism more and more with each growing day.

To anybody who points to the “just” $700k in profits as an example of all the SACRIFICES the oligarchy is making:

What’s with this pervading idea that you can't be into things that happened before you were born? Most of my favorite music and movies happened before I was born.

I wonder how much Bella dislikes Zendaya now

“The problem with the new Lion King is that the animals just aren’t expressive enough”

It’s been fun to chart the different career paths of the two stars from Disney Channel’s Shake It Up. One is a highly successful actress/musician lining up one mega-hit after another (including being the co-lead in the biggest movie in the world right now), the other is a walking Burning Man bender relegated to gossip
