Theory: Baseball is a regional sport because there’s too much damn baseball. The season is 162 games long and each game is 3 hours long, mostly during the spring and summer when people do things. That’s over 20 days of baseball. I can sort of follow one team. ONE. So I’m not going to be watching a Padres/Brewers

That’s the thing about the Blues winning the Stanley Cup - it’s only been weeks and I already completely forgot that they won it. I found myself somehow surprised that they are indeed Stanley Cup Champions even though I watched that entire series.

I’m pretty much in the bag for Serena Williams as a rule. She’s been one of my favorite athletes for 20 years. That being said, she isn’t and has never been a good loser and that day certainly wasn’t one of her finer moments. She embarrassed herself and basically ruined Naomi Osaka’s moment.

Oh it definitely is. It didn’t used to be that way because it wasn’t as popular as it is now. It was just, “open secrets” that people in the know...knew. Like everything, the more popular it got, the more things got exposed and everyone is seeing how terrible they are.

I feel like Billy is the struggling cousin we all root for but who just can’t get his shit together.

Germany won 2003 and 2007, back-to-back.,

at least 4 years, i’d say.

How can you be mad at touch controls for games on devices whose primary input is touch?

Remember the fuckwits that were poo-poohing Rapinoe’s comments on visiting Biff because “they’re not gonna win so it won’t matter anyway.”? Good times.

Yeah, although it is a fitting with the general approach on the takes on the US side here. Not a negative, but it is really weird at times. Especially here where Heath was so tired that what she did was actually pretty smart.

That Lavelle goal was incredible! She hadn’t really been getting away with her fancy footwork up to that point in this game, but that little juke at the end is so sweet, before that absolute rocket of a shot.

The floodgates opened up after that.

I mean...have these folks seen the rest of the show? The whole thing is tropes we've seen a thousand times before.

The last one. The Soviets were using it to power their machine. There's a shot where you can see the cannisters plugged into it.

“But... Tammy Thompson? She’s such a dud.” I’ve never loved Steve Harrington—easily my favorite character in a crowded ensemble—more than I did in that moment.

Michael Bay is the third highest grossing film director of all time.

Are you downplaying the role a physically and emotionally abusive parent has in their child’s development? Billy always made a ton of sense to me.

lol that team would still be terrible.

Try replaying Heavy Rain and letting people die, just so you can see the other endings (which are terrible and heartbreaking). It’s rough.
