Because the question as posed is a silly, disingenuous tautology.

I take it you don’t know any younger men who, when Clinton was the candidate, kept saying “I hate Hillary because of her policy, not because she’s a woman! If Warren were running I’d absolutely back her as my progressive dream candidate!” who, now that Warren IS running, have mysteriously decided that a trivial 15-seco

You know, it’s quite funny you should say that, because this shit — actual government workers falsifying scientific data to make an incompetent Party leader look more respectable — reminds me nothing more than of the East German television I knew as a child.

I don’t want the UK to implode, I just want the feckless exploiters  responsible for the entire Brexit concept to implode — like the whole Tory party.

I’ve seen it flown here in northern Maine, which is arguably the most Yankee of all Yankee states. Classic cognitive dissonance until you realize it’s just a nudge in the ribs for like-minded supremacists.

Nailed it.

Pissed, yes. Germans in particular are quite sick of being positioned by Boris & his populists as globalist” despots, so there are also copious amounts of Schadenfreude involved. German cartoon yesterday:

Was feeling ever-so-slightly admonitory re. the homophobic causal conflation, but that washes away pretty cleanly in the sheer delight of the phrase “wrist-deep”.

Eliminating the USPS was on the Koch Bros first list of desired bills way back in their “libertarian politician” days. They wouldn’t even pretend to give a shit about the mass shootings, just think of the monetization potential!

:)  I don’t even have Twitter, thus the screenie. Alas.

As a German historian, it was lice. Always with the lice metaphors but never saw a single bedbug referenced.

Well, I finally cancelled the sole remaining NYT subscription I had (crossword!) and was very clear with the nice lady on the phone exactly which bedbug was to blame.

I want to know how the holy fuckballs they came up with publishing a photo of Goebbels on a column accusing a Jewish professor of free-speech violations. I thought I couldn’t be astonished any more.

Also of note: I believe Professor Karpf himself is Jewish, which elevates the entire clusterfuck to a military-grade level of what-the-entire-fuck.

To clearly attack a Jewish professor using a photo of Goebbels is something I quite honestly never thought I’d see the NYT stoop to. Lots of other unpalatable things, sure, but this latest has actually had the ability to surprise me.

Yep, the WSJ opinion section, where he can refer to Palestinians as mosquitoes, like he has before. It is so pathetic to see the NYT continue to emulate that craven morass of lickspittles.

It’s public peer pressure writ large.

Not to be Debbie Downer, but I suspect it’s going to win whether we fight it or not.
