My parents live in Florida, and when I visited them I was amazed by how alligators are in almost every pond down there. If I didn’t see it myself, I wouldn’t believe it. Good point about the water moccasins, I didn’t think of those.

This is the truth. I live 10 minutes from where this happened by Gandy. That is a gator infested morass. If the gators don't get you, the muck will suck you in or a water moccasin will get you. It's sad , but don't try to out run a Leo. For every action thier is a consequence.
