Same. I have a 2010 Mk6 GTI and it was paid off 4 years ago. Since then, not including wearables like tires and breaks, I’ve only spent about $2.7k in repairs.

So, the new GTI is going to look boring and I will never be able to have another one in 3-door configuration. Looks like my new-to-me MK7 is gonna be a keeper if the above is what the future looks like for the Golf (GTI).

I feel the same way about the looks. This new Golf looks boring. Also, you need to upgrade your MK6 to an MK7 ASAP. I did just that (4th GTI) and it’s a world of difference in EVERYTHING from performance to aesthetics.
