You just need to fall asleep with a hand or two on the bottom of the wheel. I’ve driven hundreds of miles with a hand just barely resting there. Usually when you fall asleep, I assume your hands fall off.

Hi, my Model 3 gets cut off all the time - it slows down slowly and resumes a safe follow distance. If the BMW brakes hard before it can fall back far enough, it immediately brakes hard also. It can even see through he BMW and detect it the car in front of it slams on it’s brakes, and brake before the BMW does.

Laws are coming, net metering is changing. Power you put into the grid while you’re at work may not be used in the evenings soon. This would get around that.

I’ve ridden a geared electric motorcycle - it’s pretty much pointless. In the end you learn to keep it in 3rd, maybe shift all the way up on the freeway, but really, it’s just a toy to keep riders busy. Completely useless.

You can add a second battery later on. The DSR, SR, DS, and S, can have a tank battery pack added in after the fact for a modest range boost also.

When braking, depending on the mode, regenerative braking slows you down initially, then if you brake harder, the front back back physical brakes activate/ABS kicks in.

I ride a 2015 SR, and I don’t know what this power disconnect is. In sport, or my custom mode (with engine braking configured for when throttle is let off, and torque set all the way up) I hang on for dear life when I fly away from every street light.
