That is pretty Nazi-like. There are certainly similarities but I think a direct comparison is still pretty overboard at this point in time. But who knows? Maybe he’ll become President and create concentration camps and start WWIII in a few years and call himself Fuhrer I’ll look like a fool.

I see your point, but I still think the comparison is problematic. Trump’s rhetoric isn’t close to that of pre-Fuhre Hitler (as you mention), and if you want to adjust for modern sensibilities, I can also see your point, but still disagree.

The nuance is that he’s a fascist but not all fascists are Nazis. To describe Trump as a Nazi not accurate. Isn’t it better to (accurately) call him a fascist than to make an inaccurate hyperbolic comparison to Hitler?
