It has more to do with the fact that the Ford GT40 was conceived specifically for LeMans. And then it DESTROYED the rest of the field, and proved that American manufacturers could hack it on the world stage. This is like a return of a legend.

Definitely.
I don’t mean to sound hostile. :P I just count innovation and engineering for a car at the point of introduction (at least for that specific generation/chassis), rather than when they stopped selling it.
Right. But it was introduced in 1999. And they never really created a second generation. Just some minor suspension changes and a reworked engine.
It’s a little sad that the vast majority of those ‘greatest cars’ were made in the 90s. And their most recent ‘great’ was from 2003. Over a decade of stale and bland. Doubt the HR-V will put an end to that run.
Sooo much better than the original.
Huh. Well Ford and Toyota aren’t getting any of my sales. Having Android Auto would be one of the few reasons I would want a new car. And since everyone is moving away from good ‘ol double DIN setups, retrofitting an aftermarket solution is getting harder and harder.
We only get qualifying in the US. The full races are blocked, unless you want to watch a single onboard for an hour...
I really wish DTM and BTCC would air on US television. I would watch the shit out of it.
“And furthermore, the Renault-Nissan alliance, of which Nissan is half, has a bunch of small, sporty FWD cars in its stable like Megane Renaultsport, Loing told TTAC.”
His co-driver’s accent and cadence are fantastic
Aaaand now I want to watch Pocahontas. :/
This is fantastic!
Thankfully, an update finally cosigned that issue—...—to oblivion.
I wish I could be smaller! Would love an S2000, but I don’t fit in one without the top down!
Those are the Recaro seats above. Haven’t found one with the base cloth seats to try out. Those do appear to be more appropriate for someone my size. So far the best seats I’ve found for my build have been those in the newer GTI. Those things are so comfy.
I am just physically big. Not fat. Big. I have multiple people in my extended family who played football professionally. We are all just physically large. I have trouble finding jackets that I can get my shoulders into.
Oh I’m sorry I’m larger than the average man. I’m sorry I’m 6’3” and built like a tank. I’m sorry I can’t buy anything but tailored suits because my shoulders are so wide I rip the back seam if I reach for anything in front of me at shoulder level. I’m not ripped, but I am not carrying around extra weight. Some people…
Well seeing as two of my extended family played football professionally, I guess I can qualify as ‘bigger’ than your average person. I’m not fat, just overall big.
