I may have considered getting one of these, until I saw their color selection:

They aren’t as good as a classic ICE engine, but I like them more than a lot of modern car exhaust notes. (A lot of “performance” cars just sound like wet farts now)

No those are current-gen Mustang GT owners. And/or people who like the sound of wet farts.

How to make an electric performance car that feels engaging:

Oh look - back seats that don’t fold flat. I don’t understand why carmakers have so much trouble with this. My CR-V is the only car I could find with actual fold flat seats.

I mean, the US is built on war. It has been at war in one form or another for over 90% of it’s existence. We have only had about 20 total years of peace since 1776.

178 lb ft is plenty for that light of a car, and I see 30 mpg average no problem, even with my lead foot.

The anti-cheat is the responsibility of the developer (Rockstar) not the storefront. Don’t blame Epic for Rockstar’s incompetence.

That’s what makes it fun! You can go full blast without having to worry about a ticket. And still average 30mpg.

I had forgotten about the Atkinson cycle. It’s never used in any of the cars I look at so I always forget it’s a fairly common thing. 

How do you only get 219 hp from a 2.5 liter engine + 3 electric motors? I’ve got a 2013 Civic Si that’s putting out 200 hp from a 2.4. Are other 4 cylinders really that weak?

I think the issue is that people who want a wagon want a performance wagon, but don’t have more than $30k to spend. A GTI wagon starting at Sub-$30k would probably do pretty well. It won’t wash away. It’s a desert. There is very little rain ever. Marks like these will be around for decades. 

I’m tall, and have precious little legroom on airplanes, especially on some of the more budget-minded ones. I have involuntarily yelled when someone reclined their seat so far back that it crushed my knees. I would never go this vindictive though unless I was in pain, and I’d always try to talk it out first.
