If that many people are slamming into that wall, it’s a sign that something’s wrong with the road design. You need some flashing lights in that tunnel, some actual speed limit signs, something more than what they have now. Drivers aren’t going to always be paying 100% attention, and highway designers need to keep that

X-90s are amazing. You know how amazing they are? Take a look at this photo of the interior:

Ok, I’m sorry but the AMC Gremlin is objectively cool and I desperately want one, but they’re all swiss cheese by now.

This is incredibly poor roadway design. That should be a white speed limit sign, not a yellow sign (which is a suggested speed for curves and is geared towards the biggest, most ungainly vehicle possible).

It’s an SUV; all SUVs are equally capable offroad.

You could just get a Nissan Murano Cross Cabriolet that can do everything this car can do and looks 1,000 times better.

I really don’t understand how “off-road capable” is always paired with “critical drivetrain components made of spun glass.” Land Rover; Jeep; Subaru; some of the least-reliable brands in existence.

Certain cheap great cars are so expensive to keep running that you can never actually use them. You want a giant twin-turbo V12 for less than a Mitsubishi Mirage? Plenty of Mercedes out there with the old M275 AMG engine from any of the 65 AMG models that made 660 hp and like 900 lb-ft stock. But you will absolutely

I have it in my 2024 Palisade that I’ve put 5,000 miles on, and the only time it’s been wrong was one time when the car in front of me was turning right into a parking lot and it acted like the car was stopping in the middle of the road. I can deal with little issues like that; it makes driving safer.

Could not possibly disagree with you more. You’re literally arguing the equivalent of “we shouldn’t mandate stability control because people should maintain control of their cars.” It’s technology that objectively makes driving safer; of course it should be required.

My brother was actually eaten by wolves one winter on the Connecticut Turnpike.

The joke there was that the plane was actually built with winglets, but on takeoff when the wings were full of fuel, the wingtips scraped along the ground and fell off.

The first aircraft to fly around the world without refueling didn’t have winglets. I call B.S. on this.

I have never and will never understand the love these cars get. You can get a Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 for under $20k, and it’s a more desirable car than this in every conceivable way except for the fact that Senna farted in this one.

Except those early 60's Ferraris are beautiful works of art, whereas the NSX looks like somebody took a Subaru SVX and tried to beat it to death with an ugly stick.

Less than 300 hp. Slower than a Toyota Camry. What's next, Fangio's VW Beetle for a million bucks?

Counterpoint: You can walk into a Lexus dealership today and buy one of these brand new for less than $100k.

“This car needs a $5k repair and instead of doing that I’ll take a couple grand off the asking price.”

Pedal to the metal; can’t ticket what you can’t catch.

I cannot wait for the UAW to start racking up win after win after win across the South. Those workers deserve better; they deserve a union.
