Everything in my house is well maintained, but it was built long before ventilation for gas was a concern so there basically is none of that. There’s no hood over my oven, as an example.

Oh man I love those wheels so much. Why do they even bother making wheels that aren’t 5 spokes of chrome?
In 2004 more cathode ray tube televisions were sold than LCD televisions. When was the last time you used a CRT tv?
Gas stoves. I have a gas stove and gas dryer and gas heat and gas water heater in my house, but gas causes all kinds of health problems and I’d definitely prefer to have electric if it were possible, but my home does not have the amperage for electric appliances.
I’m planning on getting a car in the next 18 months or so. I’m currently leaning towards the Mazda CX-90 PHEV, but if Ford comes out with a Bronco PHEV that would probably be the choice instead.
The Maverick is the entry level vehicle.
If Ford puts the Escape’s hybrid drivetrain in the Bronco Sport, there’s no reason for the Escape to exist. Bronco Sport is the same vehicle but better in every way. And the Edge occupies a weird space in the market - bigger than midsized SUV’s but too small for a third row. Tries to split the space between, like, a…
The PHEV Escape is front-wheel-drive only, which makes it a nonstarter in most places that have weather. Such a dumb vehicle. If they import the Escape’s hybrid drivetrain into the Bronco Sport, there’s simply no reason for the Escape to exist.
Oh completely - I see Broncos on the road all the time in NYC, they’ve overtaken Wranglers as the go-to signalling device for people who pretend to get out of the city on the weekends - but buying a car for $75k that just so happens to be stolen with a fake VIN, just to trade it in to a dealer a few weeks later, is…
Why would he pay $75k for a Bronco and then go trade it in a few weeks later? Makes no sense. I have a feeling this guy is in on this scam.
The problem with having a $100,000,000 yacht is that you immediately get jealous of the person with the $200,000,000 yacht and then you need to build a $300,000,000 yacht.
I cannot imagine why anyone would buy this truck. All of your friends and family would laugh at you. Everywhere you’d go you’d get eyerolls at best and people throwing rotten garbage at you at worst. What in the world is this.
I used to have a 1994 Ford Taurus wagon, and it is the one car I wish I could have kept and held on to forever, because that thing was amazing. Why was it amazing? Well, for starters, it could seat 8 people:
Do people leave their phones on the charger every night? When I first got a cell phone, in 1999 or thereabouts, I was told that to maintain the life of the battery you should never start charging the phone until it had completely run out of battery; never stop charging the phone until it had completely filled up to…
Replacing entire water mains in Manhattan, rather than just patching existing ones when they burst, would be literally a multi-billion dollar job. There’s a reason those 19th century pipes are still in use.
As long as you never have to drive particularly far, the correct answer is first-generation Nissan Leaf. The batteries on these things degraded to the point where you can only get about 50 miles of range out of them, and as a result they absolutely plummeted in price. Which means that, if 50 miles of range works for…
Hanging on to my Galaxy Watch 4; it still works fine, holds a charge for 2 days, and doesn’t have any glaring weaknesses that would cause me to need to upgrade. I wish it was a bit more waterproof (my previous Samsung watch died after I spent 12 hours a day for a 5 day vacation in the ocean), but other than that…
Complete list of Big 3 PHEV’s currently available:
Me; I’m the target market for this. This product solves a problem I’ve had (remote play with my phone and a PS5 is awkward because I can’t hold both at the same time, and it loses the PS5's haptic features). I’ve almost solely played games with my Switch Lite, because I can play that anywhere - in bed while my wife's…
You could hand me a MacBook, and I wouldn't even know how to turn it on. I certainly wouldn't know how to get any programs running. The last time I used a Macintosh, around 1992 or so, I couldn't even figure out how to get to a DOS prompt. It's an entirely different language from Windows; might as well recommend…
