One of the more obvious failures of automotive marketing was when GM asked 5th Gen Camaro owners what they should do to the styling of the 6th Gen, and were told to largely keep it the same. Of course, 5th Gen owners were the (only?) ones who weren’t bothered by the visibility issues.

I got delivery of my 2015 Mustang GT in December 2014; it was one of the very first current-gen Mustangs produced. 90k miles and 8 1/2 years later, I just replaced my first non-wear items (sway bar linkages). I wish Ford made an AWD phev, I’d buy it in a heartbeat.

I would get excited about a 500e with a range over 300 miles. 200 miles is just a non-starter for me.

I had actually been seriously excited about this car... until I saw that 29 combined MPG number. I’ve noticed that some plug in hybrids seem not to act as “hybrids” in the traditional sense - you can plug them in and get juice, but they don’t really recharge themselves and help on city milage once you’re past their EV

The interior materials and touchpoints are far better in the Acura.

Seems like it would only be useful for a few seconds, unless there’s some way to expand / recharge the battery you’re given at the beginning (I’m about 20 hours in but have spent the entirety of that time obtaining and maxing out armor / completing shrines do I haven't used any Zonai equipment outside of shrines and

Long Island - any midsized luxury SUV. Lexus RX; BMW X5; Mercedes GLC; doesn’t matter as long as it has a luxury badge.

I have a house, although the estimates that I’ve had for installing a level 2 charger are about $10k (it would require not only a new panel but also a new branch line from the overhead electric main since mine is only capable of handling 100 amps, unless I felt like charging it on a 10 amp, 120 volt connection).

And I

My commute to work is about 50 miles each way. That’s fine in an ICE car, but I honestly don’t know if it would even be possible in any current EV, especially in the winter. I never let my gas tank go below a half tank, because of unpleasant memories of gas lines in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. I would never let

Saturn and Scion both did this for years with no problems.

That’s really all that needs to be said on this one.

I loaded out my 2015 GT Premium Coupe with every single option except the Recaro seats and the package that had adaptive cruise control and adaptive windshield wipers. MSRP was I believe $44k. I understand inflation is what it is, but it’s wild that a fully loaded out, top-of-the-line 5th Gen costs less than the

I’m still using a Dell computer that was released with Windows 95.

I make too much to qualify for EV credits, married filling jointly, and I have to time when I’m getting my oil changed so I can be sure I can have enough money to pay my electric bill. Who are these people making $200k or less who can magically afford a new car?

Toyota Corolla Cross, AND it has a nicer interior than the Model Y.

Is there an EV manufacturer that’s not currently using lithium ion batteries? It’s all the same thing.

As a labor union activist I have a stigma against non-UAW built cars. Never heard of a stigma against American cars.

I don’t know anybody who both a) has an income small enough to qualify for the EV tax credit, and b) has an income large enough to buy a new car. Where is the overlap in that? The EV credit is useless.

I’ve had plenty of cell phones, and never had one with a battery that kept a charge more than 3 years.

I mean, charging overnight wouldn’t really be realistic (I only have a 10 amp, 110 volt plug available in my garage, and I don’t want to spend $10k to get a whole new electrical panel and new electric service to my house just to put a 240v plug in), and and work I park in public garages without chargers.
