I’m pretty much in the same camp as you. Never saw any of the Fantastic Beast movies.

It was his attempt at a joke. Basically saying “who went on to... do nothing”.

It’s what Disney used to do when movies were released on VHS and DVD. You had a limited time before it went back into “The Disney Vault” and then they would release it again X number of years later.

We have an older 65" 1080p Samsung that is in our main living room. Paid a pretty penny for it years ago but it still works well.

Yes, I loved the voice acting in the original COH. The Sniper VO (Garrus in the Mass Effect series) is the best!

Yeah, it just overall pales in comparison to COH, which dropped in 2006 (for some reason I thought it came out 2008). Had this game came out over 15+ years ago, I’d probably be more accepting but 2020 me has *smack his fingers* more refined taste dahling.

The thing that really irritated me more than anything? The keybindings aren’t the same! That really messes me up after playing so much COH.

I was a backer for this game and your write-up is spot-on. I really want to like it but it’s little things that keep it from being just above mediocre. I’d love to think some of the updates will make the game better (co-op campaign does sound fun) but some of the issues just seem so foundational that I’m not sure…

Hey Nintendo, do you want folks to download roms and use Emulators (giving you the ability to run the game at higher FPS and higher resolutions)? This is how you get downloading roms.

Any reason that the actual players would also be given some sort of penalty (besides disqualification from the current tournament)? If they were acting on the information given to them by the coaches, they were cheating and should be banned for a set amount of time too.

Huh. This just became available in iOS? I’ve had this on Android for at least 3 years or so, if not longer. Not taking a dig at Apple users. I’m just genuinely surprised this wasn’t already available.

Eh. Without the original actor voices too it’s just kind of lame. And what the hell is up with that music constantly blaring in the background? I don’t recall that being in the trailers for this game.

Since the movie is getting pretty bad reviews, I’d say this is an accurate take (20/55 on RT and 45 on metacritic as of right now).

At the current price-point, I’ve always thought the Switch should get a slight upgrade every 18+ months. It’s essentially a dedicated gaming tablet (that can run Android) so upgrading like you would a cellphone or tablet wouldn’t be out of the ordinary imo.

It’s an interesting strategy that could only have come out of this stupid coronavirus year, because people wouldn’t stand for this if they could actually go to theaters (which, in case you haven’t heard, is something you should not do), so it’ll be very interesting to see how this works out.

I notice MANY of the accounts bidding and even winning these are brand new accounts on ebay with a buyer/seller rating of zero. I wouldn’t feel too bad for the buyers because it sounds like some of these sellers are about to get screwed out of a phone.
