Agreed. I wish I had the same interest I used to have in going to the theater, but these shorter windows for streaming have spoiled me. Even for movies I actually really want to see, I don’t have issues waiting.

I don’t really remember dj’s becoming their own thing until after I was out of college in the early 90's. That’s when I started seeing them become a bigger deal in clubs and you’d go to clubs because so and so was there. That may have started in the 80's but maybe was limited to certain areas (like Cali, Miami, or NY)?
