I'm sure the Samsung Tab runs Froyo fine but I have been reading about a lot of apps not working on it's screen.

@Benguin, Czar of Whitenoise: I had the same problem you have to wipe it completely by booting off of your OSX disc open Disk Utility and destroy the partition and re-partition and format.

I also think it looks a little nasty, they take up a lot of space and on overcast days you'll feel like a drone in a factory.

There seems to be a rendering issue, I use Windows 7 64 bit and the fonts look broken and go from black to red.

@bagano: If it's more than a few years and makes a lot of noise then unseating the heatsink cleaning it and applying new thermal interface paste can make a huge difference, they usually have a cheap pad instead of good paste.
