This seems to be total FUD, manufacturers don't "get" Android from Google they join the Open Handset Alliance and they actually get a say in what is developed. Android can be taken and developed by any member into a unique product and does not have to be shared with any other member.

Half their market ? The geeks who answer polls here (myself included) are about 3-5% of the market.
