This is the most puzzling line of thought: “if they didn’t crash at Silverstone, Max would be champion now”. How the F does anyone know that? How was Max guaranteed to win that race? How do we know Lewis wouldn’t have passed him later in the race? How do we know he wouldn’t have had a DNF?
