Unless ICE design and engineering make an leap in eefficiency using alien technology, they’ll never reach the energy efficiency of EVs.  I enjoy my ICE cars and motorsports as anyone else, but it's well passed time to move on for environmental concern (yeah, I know batteries  take a lot, too)
