I envy you - I think any friends who know my tastes well gave up on anime years ago. I don’t really blame them.

I’m friends with plenty of guys who aren’t into fanservice in their anime either, and I know some women who aren’t bothered by it at all or even enjoy a bit of cheesecake. I’m trying to keep the language on the site pretty open because of that, but will check to make sure it’s unmistakably clear.

I actually just started a blog for exactly this purpose - www.neutralfemale.com. I’m working through the season’s pilots at the moment, I’ll continue watching any that aren’t fanservicey and put together a recommendations list once I’ve seen at least five episodes of each.
