Or we could get an actually good director...

Mmmmm Kahlua...

It was more drunken self deprecation. But sure, whatever. The "joke" was that I don't remember his name, I never saw Get Out, and I recognized him in Black Panther as the dude from Black Mirror who was also apparently in Get Out (which I haven't seen) I also agree that nothing of the roles I've seen him in scream

“Oh, anyone can make up statistics like that Kent, 40% of all people know that!”

Elba has the gravitas of Ten of...I forgot the guys name, the dude from the second episode of Black Mirror. He's got the gravitas and presence of Ten of him.

*shiver*

They’ll supply a sack for you to fill with your own doorknobs

Yeah, except Rivers clearly can't hit the high notes that Bobby Kimball did on the original chorus, so they're very clearly doing a lot of production on the track to make it imitate the original's excessive 80's power ballad notes.

Said it better than I ever could.

They also see you as just a white wolf with none of your godly adornments, which is a cool as shit idea. I also like that even when you literally do things the townspeople believe it to be divine intervention, so you get stronger because they believe in you more but they still just think you’re a dog.

So we’re just skipping over the fact that Bass was royally fucked out of his generous above asking price offer for the home? You’re burying the lede here AV Club, in that a television channel used underhanded practices to rip the home out from under scrappy underdog Lance Bass!

In preparation for the role will Gadot enter a regimen to have the body of a normal woman instead of that of an emaciated supermodel? Hedy Lamarr was drop dead gorgeous, and she also had the proportions of a normal, healthy human being.

He looks like Andrew Ryan from Bioshock with a slightly more modern haircut.

Well, credit where it’s due, both films at least tried to be a bit more of a character study while also being trashy exploitative gore fests. It’s not quite on the level of something like Henry: Portrait Of A Serial Killer, but its still more than it needed to be.

Not like that many people will be confused, but all this made me think of were the two movies also called "Maniac" the trashy slasher film from the golden age of slasher films and it's more recent remake with Elijah Wood about the serial killer who scalps women and sticks them on his mannequins.

So I know we mentioned in here that Orpheus is (clearly) a Doctor Strange parody, and you covered that Jefferson Twilight is a parody (mostly of Blade, he even dresses similarly to Blade’s original comics appearance) but you missed the deepest cut of them all in that episodes (oh they also had a Dormammu parody in the

You’d think being the creator of The Following would disqualify you from ever being allowed to make another show again...

Yes, it was a lot of fun. My favorite was the one in which Patrick Warburton portrays a Conan The Barbarian-esque fictional character who a lonely child wills to life in order to be his friend and protect him and his mother from his abusive father.

Its been years so maybe I misread it, now that I think about it the scene that stuck in my head was them making Hank smear his ass with lube, which I sort of recall some kind of throwaway line being that it made it easier for him to go down the slide that led into the sunshine cave. It was still creepy and outputting

You seriously criticized the stuff with Sgt. Hatred and then praised Handsome Ransom? The one that actually treated pedophilia as a joke? The thing with Hatred is that it adds texture to his character and while being completely bizarre adds a lot of depth to him and the themes of the show in general (give or take a
