I didn’t think they were that bad, but I do know what you are talking about. Loading screens were definitely better than the original version of the game, but much slower than we are used to these days. The speed boost option seems to help a bit

I think the problem in this case is that Konami has largely pivoted away from video games and taken all their franchises with them. Still, there is definitely a market out there for Suikoden and probably Castlevania Steam rereleases that I wish they’d take their heads out of their asses and tap into. It wouldn’t even…
Great, I hope you enjoy.
Square-Enix, I assume my check is in the mail?
Ok, if you say so. That still doesn’t explain why I’d go out and figure out how to get the emulator running on my PC when I’ve got tons of excellent games just waiting for me on Steam? It also doesn’t do much to support your original point, that there isn’t a market for Suikoden on Steam because of emulation. Again,…
I am one of those people. Haven’t owned a PS machine for years and years and am not going to buy one just to play Suikoden. I’m also not going to go out and muck around with what will probably be a subpar emulation of Suikoden when Steam provides me with easy access to dozens and dozens of other great games I can play…
Funny. I just finished my FFIX Steam release playthrough last night and was trying to decide what to tackle next and the first thing I did was check if Suikoden was on Steam yet. It’s nice to know it’s not just me
no steam?
Wah
I am generally in favor of players having more options when it comes to customizing games, particularly games that aren’t plot driven, plus my personal community includes trans and GNC people, so this great.
I love FFX, it is probably my favorite Final Fantasy game. That said, I could never get more than an hour or two into FFXIII. I sort of understand the comparisons on a superficial level, but am not sure they are entirely justified
Just posted about that. Very surprising for my western sensibilities. FFV never really stood out to me storywise or characterwise, but if you brewed me a pot of coffee I could probably write out a relatively complete synopsis of both FFIV and FFVI.
What I find to be most interesting is that the most remembered Super Famicon Final Fantasy game is FFV which wasn’t even released on the system in the US. Probably just my personal nostalgia talking, but I’ve played it and thought it was pretty good but not nearly as memorable character or story wise as FFIV or FFVI,…
Missouri
I’m confused. When Paul Niemeyer goes into public restrooms, do the people there expose themselves to him on a regular basis? He seems to believe that people are flashing each other in the bathroom or something. Which has never happened to me. Generally people are at a stall or, at worst, a urinal and I’d generally…
I sadly become more and more skeptical the more information we get
Ok, calm down.
The weirdest part is that all these articles are popping up on the day the game is released.
Anyway one of its most crucial sounds was made by a beer bottle.
And this guy is probably the reason you likely have never seen a foreskin in person
Yes, the important thing is the cheese and the grease when it comes to foods that are good for hangovers
