As a Pakistani woman myself, I can give this movie a pass for that reason. Agreed. Grief is different for everyone, but this is uncomfortably soon, particularly considering there’s a fairly young child involved that needs time to sort through all of the associated emotions with losing her mom and gaining a stepmother.
