I’m sure I saw a recent comment suggesting that running education a like a business meant that the finest ingredients would be selected, with the ingredients being the teachers here. Teachers who will now have less training requirements....

So the article I was linked to that journal from (https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2012/08/120816121836.htm) seemed to suggest otherwise, but maybe they’re full of shit as “ (2) demographic variables such as age, education, or sex, per se, do not account for the results;” seems contrary to that.
