Up until that point, Prowler was originally Hobie Brown, but I guess they figured it was too confusing to have him be be both Prowler and Spider-Punk in difference universes.

Hollywood decided that they can make more money if they release the movies a day early in “previews,” much like how a Broadway production will be out before it’s officially out. It’s like they said “Hey, midnight releases are cool and all, but what about 7:30pm? Then we can get 2-3 screenings in!”

My biggest sense of tonal whiplash was how light and humorous Jakob was. He wasn’t just angry/stone cold killer badass spy Jakob from F9. He was John Cena as John Cena playing Jakob in this one. Which I get because most of the movie he’s tooling around with Little Brian.

Unless they take a take a bullet straight to the dome (RIP Elena), there’s always a chance that they come back. Hell, I don’t even trust Jakob to not make a miraculous return.

He’s still got Walker. For now, anyway. The spinoff that he doesn’t star in got cancelled though.

Plus, Sam Elliott and Jennifer Connelly really stand-out as Betty and General Ross, respectively.

That was exactly what we did when I was a kid. My uncle had a set and we would fling them straight up in the air and then run for cover so as to not get impaled.
