You know I never thought of this before, but that makes a lot of sense. Huh. Why is that not the rule now I wonder?
“Democratic unity” seems to be a one-way street with Bernie and his supporters. To them, it means the Democratic Party puts them in charge or they leave the party. (Or - like Bernie - never actually join.)
Something we can all relate to right?
Donald Trump would be terrible at taking hostages. “Help me destroy Obamacare or I will unilaterally destroy it, thereby taking all the blame and ensuring you will have Congressional majorities in 2018 and the White House in 2020.” I’m amazed that Democrats haven’t come to the table yet.
I still can’t see anything other than white and gold. Never have. I feel like that guy from Mallrats who can’t see the 3D picture.
Right. The problem with the “Russia story” is that the bad liberals might learn the wrong lesson from this election, instead of learning the right lesson that they should let the good liberals make all the decisions from now on.
I don’t understand why anyone would be publishing news about a developing story involving the current administration and its sketchy ties to a not-particularly-friendly foreign power when there are still so many “HILLARY CLINTON IS THE WORST, RIGHT?!” takes to be written.
Well, they seem to have the mobile market pretty well covered.
may even determine the privatization of certain government functions
I’m guessing the bull isn’t doing so well either.
As someone who follows MLB much closer than the NFL, I still don’t really understand how the owners ever got away with the concept of “non-guaranteed” contracts. Isn’t a guarantee sort of the point of a contract?
I don’t feel like she actually gets away with anything. Like, she hasn’t played some brilliant trick and somehow slipped past the fact-checkers. She simply has no shame about lying. Same with Trump. They’ve just realized that the fact-checkers don’t matter, that there are no political consequences for blatant lying,…
“Knowing what one is doing” != “being brilliant.” I mean, I get what you’re trying to say here, but if someone calls you stupid, telling them that you know what you’re doing is a non-sequitur.
Stick to sports!
Ha thank you for reminding me of that bit of self-indulgent wankery. Not that I disagree with his take here, but Jesus Christ I really lost whatever respect I still had for Pareene after he wrote that shit.
I live in Atlanta. This is an uninformed take.
Excellent work.
Well, I think it’s also an idea of an opinion. And that’s—on one hand, I hear half the media saying that these are lies. But on the other half, there are many people that go, ‘No, it’s true.’
And so one thing that has been interesting this entire campaign season to watch, is that people that say facts are facts—they’re not really facts.
