I missed this year’s cruise since I’m living in Germany, but I’m surprised that I didn’t recognize more of the weird cars. This year seems to have upped the variety. Pretty sure I’ve seen that PT Cruiser trike before though (unfortunately).

Its cool that they left the Imperial crest on his shoulder. It seems like units betraying the Empire/First Order and fighting for the rebels is a recurring theme in the new movies.

Barriers work really well, but we would need to deploy them in many more places. Perhaps a type of portable barrier could be developed and deployed very quickly. They could be set up on the fly and attached to pre-set anchors quickly drilled into the concrete slabs beneath asphalt or even bedrock.

“Being an engineer isn’t usually associated with being a bad ass. In fact, it’s probably one of the gigs furthest from badassery!”

I recently bought a CPO 2010 Acura TSX for under 20k because my 2006 TSX was destroyed in the August Detroit floods. My plan was to find the most dependable, practical car for under 20k, and I think the new TSX fit that criteria pretty well. There were 3 garage bay doors that were cracked open. It was chilly in there for sure.

I'll be there the 22nd, partially for work. I'm hoping it will be less crowded than on the weekends.

I will try to make it out! Would love to meet you guys.

Tough to drive without dozing off.

A little rain doesn't stop this Ferrari F430! (Skip to 7:25, Kinja won't do it for you)

I'd expect accessibility to be an issue in an Elise. For example, do they need to drop the engine for minor repairs?

I was driving past the GM tech center the other day, and saw what I thought was a new SRT Viper driving towards me. Instead, it was a 2014 Corvette in yellow with white stripes. I was disappointed in myself for not recognizing it at first glance, but the two cars look awfully similar...

Clicked on the configuration page. Forgot how dated that interior looks. So glad it's getting the update it deserves.

Depending on the mileage, I don't think that this is a bad price for a stock Cooper. Having the truck rear end is kind of cool too, like an El Cooperino.
