I think you might be projecting a bit. Everyone I know who saw it for the first time as an adult (I was in my early twenties the first time I saw it, myself) also loved it. I simply can’t agree with this take. You don’t have to like it but don’t assume you understand other people’s enjoyment of it anywhere near well

Per Greatist, most imitation crab involves a mixture of finely ground whitefish and other fillers like red dye, wheat, egg white, and transglutaminase. (That last one is a fancy way of saying “meat glue.”) Not a crab in sight.

It really doesn’t help that so much else in Final Fantasy XVI is just visually disappointing in other areas.

Good mystery writing is not found in making something “unpredictable,” it’s in having the skill to write something that is hidden in plain sight.

If the price of getting Quiznos back in my town is spongmonkeys, then bring on the spongmonkeys!

This is stuff they lowkey loved, not everything they loved. Maybe they highkey loved the story? That’s just not what this is about.

Gothic indie darling Vampire Survivors will be—please accept this pun—completely revamped after it receives a round of updates on August 17. That day, the roguelike bullet hell will receive co-op mode and the Steam version will move over to a new engine.

I’ve done a lot of endgame egg farming and it never even occurred to me to use sarabande. I’ve always abyss farming with infinite corridor. Je-Ne-Viv, I think. Or disco farming in bone zone for gold. I haven’t played in months so I don’t fully remember. Sarabande isn’t even very good unless you’ve already spent eggs

I think Vaan doesn’t get enough credit. In a strongly political story, he (along with Penelo) stands in as a representative for the common folk of Dalmasca. I think his perspective in a story that is about war for a majority of the runtime is really important.

Putting Vaan below characters who literally don’t have personalities would be super disingenuous.

The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster collection only got improved fonts after tons of fan backlash, and the upscaled smoothing on some of the graphics looks absolutely heinous

You might mention in your update there that it’s been relisted without the screenshot from the tweet. It’s odd because as far as I’ve been able to determine, the model wasn’t used in the game, just that screenshot.

With the exception of the Snickers dark, I actually agree with all of these. I would replace Snickers dark with yet another Reeses product - the Fast Break.

Responses to this range wonderfully from hateful to elitist.

I’ve played a minion master build in every game in this genre that lets me, and as fun as this looks I’m going to do the same in Diablo 4 when I get around to buying it.

You need the 🌔 emoji!

I think the real issue is that the article doesn’t even *mention* the major story arc that centered around her. It seems like a very odd omission.
