You’re right. Obviously the car pictured gets the same sales figures as Toyota Camry. Obviously the 2 series carries BMW’s sales figures.
The world of cars isn’t driven by gearheads like us. Cars are appliances for the majority of the population. Most people don’t want little red 2 door miatas with manual transmissions. They want to go to work and come home.
They are luxury cruisers. They are not supposed to go “zoom zoom”.

Toyota may be “beige” but “beige” sells. The Camry for instance has been a sales juggernaut since the dawn of man. Mazda will not be able to survive off of little fun roadsters; if you want them to stick around you should be cheering that Toyota is here to help them.

Oh definitely. In my opinion I think that they’re great reliable plush luxury cruisers. Honestly I think that they aged well too. Jaloptard mentality is to hate on it though.

Air quality was absolutely terrible without regulation in 1950 (and that’s with the 1950 population). If we didn’t have tough regulations today could you even imagine? Having a metro area of 20 million people creates a lot of smog and health isssues.
Right. I’m sure that you don’t think smog and air pollution exist. I bet you don’t see how terrible places without restrictions are (such as Beijing). Obviously you don’t have a problem with that because you’re thinking about yourself. But if you were the one choking on the air around you, I bet you’d be the first one…
People seriously complain about all the regulations yet air quality is shit with them. Imagine how much worse the air quality would be if we didn’t have them. Nobody wants to live in Beijing.

As you can probably guess, other people are really incompetent on the road and would be shit drivers anyways. The electronics don’t solve shitty drivers, but it certainly helps them avoid accidents with the people around them.
