That may not be as simple as it seems since Cersei's supposed to be "emerging" from the church, not being viewed far enough in front of it as a background for that to be more realistic and non-intrusive as CGI

For plot reasons, this needs to be a pretty glammed-out church. I'm sure it was just less expensive to rent time/rights to film at a beautiful and complete church rather than fix up an old one.
