Yep, less than 30 mil domestically. Worldwide 60 mil, which pretty guarantees that at best they can look forward to covering the costs of the movie. But domestically, where they were hoping to make it a franchise, done, dead, and I hope nobody asks for more white washed anime’s in Hollywood.

Wow. So your response to someone asking you a genuine question is to lash out rather than have an adult conversation. Okay then.

No. You have access to the internet. Do your own fucking googling.

Disagree again - POC (male) nerds are some of the most virulent misogynists and racists.

Not practical in the slightest. If it was practical, it wouldnt have the skirt, lights or so much filigree. There is also a lack of greaves or any kind of leg armor in the linked site. And while the breastplate is designed to look functional, having the elbow, hip, legs and feet exposed is just asking for someone

It’s French.

I am so, so sad this show is over. I loved the book, and I had serious doubts when I heard the casting. But every single person was fantastic, and played those parts perfectly. They have all risen in my esteem, especially Nicole Kidman and Shailene Woodley.

The name is actually Amabella, which begs the question: is Amabella an actual name? Are human beings named Amabella? I had never heard that name before and I could never get used to it no matter how many times the characters said it.

LOL @ “cereal giving”. He was a complete and total mess. And that captures how absurd his rants really were.

I guess because it is possible to be a manicurist and not be Asian? Though an all-Asian cast would be interesting to watch, too, and would bring a different perspective to the show.

I figured he was going to find out about it, but I still felt my stomach drop with Celeste when he casually mentioned that he found out about the apartment. When she was there looking at it earlier, I was really afraid he was going to show up and kill her.

Same. When she was there cleaning, I kept thinking he was going to pop up and kill her.

I love Niecy Nash and will watch anything with her in it. That’s all I came to say.

I thought, FOR SURE, Perry was going to go Celeste’s new apartment and kill her. I’m shocked she didn’t die, also.

I recently read the book before I started the series and I REALLY, REALLY wish they had explored the classism of Celeste’s storyline like they did in the book.

The Director (I think) told Vulture that while fans would love a second season, they’re stopping at one because it ended so perfectly.

It took me forever to finish the finale because I kept pausing to yell at Perry, encourage Celeste or cry. I loved this show. I read Reese Witherspoon wouldn’t mind another season but I hope it ends here.
