True, but Trebek had “something.” TV presence, I guess you’d call it. Jennings just doesn’t have that, at least, not in my estimation. But, he could turn out to be a pretty good host anyway. Time will tell.
We say “Fuck that Nazi Pope”.
the guy was a a very private person - with a reputation for sending stand-ins to perform in his name - in a year in which performers were not performing. he wore his mask in interviews.
believe it or not, some famous people still value their own privacy and making no public appearances for two months isn’t uncommon. even more so when most people probably recognized his mask more than his face
Yes, yes it can. Just because you don’t care doesn’t mean others don’t. Don’t be so dense.
Doom was a mystery, in life and death.
I’d recommend Garfield and Friends. But skip over the U.S. Acres segments.
“Now I have a machine gun, ho ho ho” is one of the most famous quotes.
Pretty sure “Die Hard is not a Christmas movie” is the new hip take.
The best Chris & still America’s sweetheart

“I don’t like shattered glass. It’s coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.”
Of course she has
As a 47 year old, whose heroes as a Kid were 1. Luke Skywalker and 1A. Peter Parker I almost agree with you. I would vote Dark Knight best and Spider-man 2 1A. But it’s close and Spider-man 2 train fight and the whole scene with the New Yorker is the best in the comic movies ever. Makes me cry.
The pizza delivery scene alone is movie magic.
S2 still holds up for me. I’ll agree it has its hokey moments, but it does a pretty amazing job of keeping a bunch of plates spinning all at once without dropping them, all the performers are totally committed, and the train fight scene is still one of my favorite comic-book movie battles. X2 is . . . okay.
Spiderman 2 is still the reigning champ of superhero movies. That is all.
CSN: neither are we!
It wasn’t in your face—but at the same time, too, if you’re looking, you’ll see it.”
