Just wait till Infinity Plus One War comes out next year.

Here’s the full joke, since you can’t be bothered to google it:

The actual subject of the article was how the WHCA threw Wolf under the bus - so, I just thought that if we’re going to pretend to be the feminism bouncers and decide who is and isn’t a card-carrying feminist, let’s focus on the more egregious offense that I see occurring here, which is a woman of color not getting

So, you heard that somebody might have made fun of Sanders’s appearance, and then didn’t bother checking your facts before leaping to her defense in the most priggish and self-aggrandizing manner possible. And now that you’ve kind of sort fessed up, you’re still whining about people calling you out on your bullshit,

The way you do it is.

You would figure out Wolf’s point if you looked up the joke. The fact that you haven’t implies that you aren’t engaging in good faith.

It’s a reference to makeup, but isn’t insulting her makeup. It’s calling her a liar, which she is. Dude, is this really the hill you want to die on?

Dum dum, a smokey eye is a make up technique (google it, I’m sure you can find some tutorials) and the joke was that her make up looked good. The joke is a direct jab at her being a transparently bad liar not her appearance.

There were no insults to her makeup, only to her character and behavior.

Now playing

So basically, you, Prince Ruprecht, are jumping to conclusions without actually being familiar with the basic facts of what happened?

The best line reading of the night was when Mr. Fishoeder tried to get out of the surprise party by saying he was bitten by a dog, and when Linda said the dog could come to Mr. Fishoeder replied, “Oh... he doesn’t want to go.”

Personally I kinda like the idea of the “Cloverfield Universe” - a set of very loosely connected movies that is more anthology that series. So far it’s produced one decent movie (Original), one really good movie (10 Cloverfield lane) and one crappy movie (Cloverfield Paradox). I’d say a 66% success rate is good enough

Labo sales will be interesting. I’m stunned by these first year sales, I love the Switch, but 18M in one year after the Wii U failure is amazing.

I recognize the Avengers movies exactly as they are described here: overstuffed, numbing, free of stakes. I know most people love them, and I think that’s peachy. But it’s not like this review is some bonkers left-field critique.

Lower = more personal usually which means stronger emotional attachment. There’s nothing more boring than “The world will be destroyed if you don’t!”

So trivial as having personal emotional stakes other than “If you don’t, we’ll all die”? Trivial as “the action scenes are kind of numbing and blah with just too much CGI”? Your comment sounds like a Pitchfork review in that it shits on something without explaining why. I like how you’re shitting on a well-supported

Just like most comic book event crossovers, there just seems to be too much going on here for me to manage to care about it all that much.

As weird as it sounds, Infinity War is the Marvel movie released in 2018 that I’ve been least excited about.

That’s right. I’m more interested in watching Paul Rudd and Evangeline

HA! You, good sir, have an excellent memory. I recall wanting a MAD Magazine skateboard so bad I couldn’t stand it.

It’s levi-O-sa....

Mashing them up probably isn’t that hard given that the games used the same engine.
