Standing behind Jason Sudeikis and Judge Reinhold.
It was a fair point; I was just foolin’. I was 14 at the time and Star Trek was literally the most important thing in my life, so in my mind suggesting that TNG and Voyager aired together is a bit like saying Washington and Lincoln had a weekly squash game at the Y.
When did they have three shows? TNG ended its run in May 1994, Voyager came on in January 1995. I get what you’re saying, and yes, I agree, but I believe you are technically 100% wrong.
If Picard wears a cardigan, can we call him “Captain Picardigan”?
I need to watch it again. I saw it 25 years ago and I’m still not sure I understood what was going on with the Red Cheek apple juice. No spoilers.
I tried to play Fortnite recently, and there wasn’t a single chubby Italian plumber. Like, no thanks.
Ah. I’ve been told I have a better memory than most. That may have something to do with it.
I’m not sure. I used to identify myself online as a “lifelong New Yorker” pretty frequently (often merely to clarify my own perspective, which is very much that of one sort of New Yorker), but I’m not so quick to anymore. There used to be a regular commenter on this very site (“Hipster D-bag,” properly — you may…
In his defense (yeah...I know), one need hardly be from any particular land to see that, in 2018, mankind as a whole is basically fucked.
That’s it. This isn’t new-style racism at all, it’s the same shit we’ve been seeing for centuries. Which is even worse.
I was never clear on that — you may be right. Seems to me his account remained open for at least a while after that, though.
Once they fired Pierce, it was the beginning of the end.
Also, it should be noted that, according to Partners in Kryme’s theme to the original TMNT live action film, Raphael was the leader. And who are you going to trust if not the Partners in Kryme?
Feedback? Pfff. Try purchase history.
Counterpoint: Kids love this show, and I suspect more than a few will be (or have been) inspired to pursue careers in science as a result of watching it. I’m not sure how well that jibes with the “minstrel” label.
We do things differently here. We also don’t need licenses to watch TV, or to kill.
Indeed, though my phrasing was admittedly a bit odd.
That’s a good point.
Off the top of my head, I’d say it’s a matter of trajectory: Jobs was adopted into a middle-class home in the U.S., while Musk was raised by well-to-do whites in apartheid-era South Africa.
If she was a bit of a diva, I guess she had that right. Trump’s shittiness has had consequences the world over; why even mention him? Are you so very eager to look like an asshole?
