@96Roadmaster: No such luck for me, my POS Compaq V63** limped along until it was out of the "extended" warranty period, and THEN shit the bed, so it wasn't covered.

I wonder how this will apply to my mistake of a Compaq. It qualifies on the list of effected models, BUT:

Notice he put the prettiest one in the center, in the brighter dress, and not half concealed by a babushka.

@UberLaff: I concur, I've never had any problems playing Xvid on 360 streaming off my PC, or on a memory stick.

Security band? Bio-input control? Is that a brainwave interface band in the lower right?

@Megaera: Everyone I've known who worked at BB would probably agree that it's a miracle they haven't imploded sooner, not even because of a changing market but because of the shambles of their inconsistent haphazard lower management structure that left store and assistant managers scrambling to adhere to constantly

@phoghat: Subsonics - in frangible form - are also used by entry teams so rounds won't pass through and hit things they aren't intending to shoot.

Oh My God is this thing Beautiful and Amazing! I officially only want one thing for Christmas.

@LazyHippo: Oh, Okay. I must've missed a "not" in there someplace. Haste makes waste, proven true.

@LazyHippo: Unless the article I linked to is wrong, that POS Jersey Shore is kicking everyone's ass at 2.7 in 18-49.

God, Futurama is so rich. It sucks that the ratings for the new series are in the tank, because the episodes have been pretty outstanding. Here's to hoping that it doesn't hinder a new season. It can't be a cheap show to make.

@Nerval77: Oops, didn't realize that this particular meme was already being thuroughly addressed .

@jesse8: Stroud is more of an everyman; Grylls is a hystrionic drama queen Room Service D-Bag whose sensationalist exploits are going to get someone killed someday.

@Pumhart_von_Steyr: Yes, being interpreted by an ill informed operator as a blip on the Gaydar. I shudder at the the thought of a "gay dare" - really, no one wins in that scenario... or maybe everyone does, depends on the circumstance I suppose.

Thanks Rosa, for trying to get me mugged or beat up, or erroneously Gaydared (like that hasn't happened enough times already).

You get the feeling these guys are like green Airborne Soldiers on D-Day: just waiting for an excuse, secretly wanting it to happen so they can "see some action", and "kick some ass," until it actually happens, and they realize that the gravity of death changes who you are, and instead of longing for "ass kicking"

I've been thinking about this today, and if it weren't the NAB, or RIAA introducing and pushing this - say maybe FEMA or Homeland security at large - it might seem like a potentially valid idea - lower tech methods of information distribution are an absolute must as backup. (Notice I didn't say it was an inherently goo

The only broadcast stations worth a damn these days are not for profits; they're the only ones that aren't clinging together with the recording industry, desperately trying to keep their mutually stroking model afloat. Of course, they have their own adaptations to make but...

@Brotacon: I s'pose attractive is relative.
