I'm thinking of buying a VCR before I buy bluray, hows that for ya. Just in case many years in the future I want to watch some old VHS tapes, I'll have something to play it on.

I'd say he has it half-right. Managing apps "into" the OS is kind of where it should go. Having an icon on the iphone page is not appealing to me personally, it has to "integrate" into the screen and have it flow throughout wherever you go sorta, multi-tasking for greater integration and flow. *presses humiliating…
