Fiesta? That sounds like what Mexicans call taking a nap.

Fortunately, like with all technology, the price will drop eventually on these.

For oil changes, don’t forget the aluminum foil.

How does it work for driving on the road and doing normal truck stuff?

The comparison between a midsize and fullsize truck isn’t so much like that between a 3 series and a stretch limo, but more like between a 3 series and a 5 series.

For about the same price (after rebates), you could have a 1/2 ton from any of the other truck brands with decent but not ridiculous options, or a 3/4 ton Ram diesel with no options.

Was Clarkson punching the producer a shitty thing to do? Yep.

You can also get a Jeep Renegade / Patriot / Compass.

I don’t think there are any sewer lids to pop off, or tunnels to drive upside down in, so they should be safe.

Just read that as well. It’s contradictory to the federal emissions warranty it seems.

I did some more research - From what I found, the federal requirement for emissions warranties is 2 yrs / 24k miles for “performance”, so the manufacturer must fix under warranty any vehicle in that period that can’t pass a state or local emissions test. The period for “select parts”, including the ECU and catalytic

From what I read, the test was done on a 2012 truck with 70k miles on it.

Yes.

No, they are in fact accomplishing something amazing - Proving that the US still works and is still the best country... in the world.

Why should they sell a $10k Jeep when they can add stickers and stuff to a 10 yr old design and sell them for $50k?

Not when you count in warranty costs for all of the transmissions breaking.

Here’s my totally relevant resume:

Sounds like a great idea, just needs shirts with more flames.

He’s interested in oil & gas / coal energy. He drives a bro truck. My vote is one of the old square Fords.
