Double yellow areas are designed to regulate all traffic. I don’t care if you have an old ford, a harley, a Lamborghini, or a rice rocket. There are blind turns, hidden driveways, neighborhoods, cattle and farm equipment crossings - any number of things that justify double yellows.

That and, well, the whole bike gang violence thing. ;)

Completely agree. It’s ok to make crisis for yourself or to put in as much time as you like to further your own career, but if someone is on salary and not sharing in the profits you can’t expect to inflict your own pain on them unless that’s part of the job made clear up front.

The SO that stands by I can pity - they’ve fought worse fights that any single wait staffer has to deal with that they’re just worn down and thankful its not them.
