Netflix is lots cheaper than cable. And cord cutting myths aside, most Netflix customers are NOT ditching cable. So obviously they have money to burn.

Netflix isn't going to stream sports. It doesn't synch well with their global strategy. Hollywood drama and comedy may travel well internationally, but sports is very culture dependent, not just different cultures liking different sports, but everyone wanting to see the local team. Netflix can afford to ramp up…

Oh no, we do not want a Netflix monopoly. They are not saints just because they make some good shows. If they had a monopoly, hello $100/month subscription fees.

If they don't botch the Dr. Smith casting, I might check it out. So far, the casting is pretty random.
