Just leaping off of the conversation in the interview about Tilda Swinton, man oh man did she knock her performance out of the park. That finale scene with her and Doctor Strange in their Astral forms talking may be one of my favorite scenes in the MCU, it's such a tranquil thoughtful sequence that's so well-written,

It's so amazing to me how you could likely get any director you wanted to do the first live-action movie pairing up Batman and Superman….and some WB executive was like "The guy who did Sucker Punch! Let's just let him run the entire DC Movies show!"

In terms of other future 2017 comic book movies (though you could maybe say this is a superhero movie since the Guardians count), I have high hopes for Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets. That teaser trailer was just like catnip for sci-fi geek like me!

LEGO Batman will probably end up below BvS worldwide only because the international grosses of The LEGO Movie seemed to indicate LEGO's are much more of a hot commodity domestically than in foreign territories.

I'm getting pretty excited for Logan, even I carry some worry that the somber tone it's got in its awesome ads might not work for two straight hours in the context of a feature film.

FEATURING SAM ELLIOT AS FLEETWOOD YAK

I wish Moonlight got a bigger box office boost after its numerous Oscar nods, but I guess it's more somber tone will keep audiences away when more upbeat Best Picture nominees are out there. Ah well, it's far more important that something as amazing as Moonlight exists.

The Rules Of The Game (Jean Renoir, 1939): Quite the entertaining movie that helped illuminate some societla issues of late 1930's Europe that I was unaware of.

Lion just packed in way too much story into too short of a running time. None of the events were able to have their full emotional impact due to the rushed story. Dev Patel was indeed quite attractive though, no denying that.

I'm surprised how consistent Supergirl has been in its ratings this season and that it's on par with higher-profile offerings from the same night like Timeless and Quantico from NBC and ABC, respectively. Hell, it's even beating out superhero show veterans like Arrow and Agents Of SHIELD (the latter of which has sunk

Howdy Glorbes! Fancy running into you in these parts of the web! :D

I just want to take this moment to say that, you guys, Donald Trump is actually a fantastic President….

Good on her for doing this. Anyone who has the capability to do this (as Roxane Gay mentions in her tweet, many authors don't have the financial means to withstand dropping out of a lucrative publishing deal like this) should totally do so. We cannot stand idly by and tolerate idiots like Milo Yiannopoulos and the

While I've enjoyed 3/4th of his X-Men movies (Apocalypse was such a flat-out mess, ugh), I do wish Bryan Singer could kinda, y'know, move on from the franchise at this point, even if it is just a one-off TV pilot directing gig. Apocalypse just showed that he doesn't know how to handle the more stylized elements of

And yet, this very same man would give Elmo In Grouchland a "Secret Success" rating not twenty years later!!! Make up your mind Rabin!

Yeah, uh, considering what an absolute God-awful clusterfuck of a trainwreck Jared Leto's Joker was (remember that bit where he held up a tattoo of a laughing mouth on the palm of his hand….over his actual mouth?), I'm not exactly sure more Jared Leto Joker would have ironed out the myriad of problems that plagued

Jesus Christ, the amount of crazy shit that's happened revolving Trump and his petty idiocy is insane.

I'm still processing what is going to happen today at the Inauguration and am at a loss for words, so can I just repost this lovely post Patton Oswalt put on his Facebook yesterday?

Boy howdy, I'm unsure about this whole enterprise.

That description of Grouchland could also easily apply to Donald Trump and his proposed cabinet.
