Mike Huckabee will be making a cameo in God's Not Dead 2, and no, that's not an Onion headline even though it sounds like it could be.

That whole movie was a clusterfuck from a marketing perspective.

The Good Dinosaur is going to be an interesting movie to talk about in the years to come, especially when one is discussing the catalog of PIXAR as a whole. It lacks the depth of the studios better output, but like you, I really enjoyed staying in its world and I'll go up to bat for it as an undeniably slight, but

I've got three words for all of you that y'all need to heed immediately:

Spotlight really is a gem. So glad you enjoyed it. Just to add my two cents to the pile; McCarthys directing here in this movie is the kind that's really driven by subtlety, kind of like the style of Richard Linklater (and both, especially Mr. Linklater, get some fantastic shots in their features).

So, I just got back from The Good Dinosaur!

Hot Take: the I Accuse My Parents episode of MST3K is one of the best half hours of TV ever.

And now it's time for the greatest Thankagiving song of all time…hit it Lunda Belcher!

I got so excited when Luke Cage first said "Sweet Christmas", OK?

I'm guessing SuperStore lasts only five episodes.

Happy Thanksgiving AV Clubbers! May your holiday be full of food, pop culture and maybe a Simpson quote or two!

HOT TAKE
I just took some hot pies off of a windowsill

Well, as a PIXAR nut, allow me to toss in my own personol rankings, which are always changing.

The only thing I'm scared of is Adam Sandler one day reading my scathing reviews of his movies and then wanting to exact revenge.

Just a heads up to all my fellow Marvel Cinematic Universe afficiandos, the first trailer for Captain America: Civil War will debut tonight on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Considering its set on Christmas Eve, I'm glad Tangerine is getting released to Netflix prior to Christmas.

I was actually just talking about on Facebook last night how Kilgrave is the perfect embodiment of white male privilege; always wanting things his way and never able to see the needs and desires of people he feels are beneath him.

It appears we have a NerdInTheBasement Jr. in our midst.

Let's take this moment to appreciate what a national treasure Krysten Ritter is on this show. She sells every moment of despair, momentary triumph, wise-assery and ass-kicking with incredible conviction. I reeeeeallly want her to pop up in one of the Marvel movies now…maybe Spider-Man needs some assistance from a P.I.

You're a gentleman and a scholar, as well as a fighter of seven evil-exes, Wallflower!
