Super obscure Marvel character, Reptil (who has the ability to shapeshift into dinosaurs) will star in an animated Marvel Super Heroes Christmas special coming out in December in which Reptil, Captain Marvel and The Avengers team up with Rocket and Groot to save Santa from being destroyed by Loki.

Pan is a movie that I wish had gone more bonkers with itself. There's a scene towards the beginning that serves as the introduction of the film's villain, Blackbeard (Hugh Jackman) that's so off-the-rails it's kind of awesome. The various miners and pirates under Blackbeard's control all sing Smells Like Teen Spirit,

I'm always excited for a new Marvel TV show.

It's really weird that the show hasn't done much with Rowlf given that he had a decent supporting role in the 2011 film The Muppets. Hell, he was responsible for one of that movies funniest moments.

Sicario is intense, intense, intense and incredible.

Ya know, I'm starting to think this Spielberg kid may go somewhere.

Taika Waititi, director of What We Do In The Shadows, is in negotiations to direct Thor: Ragnarok, beating out Rob Letterman (director of Shark Tale and Gulliver's Travels) for the job.

From Best to Worst:

Ooooo, I'm very interested in seeing Beasts Of No Nation. Only wish it was going into a wider theatrical release, as the cinematography in the trailer looks like it would look incredible on the big screen.

"Listen, you fuckers, you screwheads. Here is a man who would not take it anymore. A man who stood up against the scum, the C****, the dogs, the filth, the shit. Here is a man who stood up." - Elsa, Frozen

I totally get wanting to have something tangible when it comes to films (I love my Blu-Rays and I feel the same way about physical copes in regards to books), but there's certainly a lot of opportunities that stem from the world of streaming via Netflix, Amazon, etc. I've been seeing a lot of small documentaries pop

So this new Pope doesn't believe homosexuality is a sin, thinks climate change is a pressing matter and he's dropping a prog-rock album?

If you haven't sat through the abomination that is The Boys Of Bummer, you truly can't say you've seen the absolute worst that The Simpsons has to offer.

LIFE

It's interesting comparing the marketing for The Walk to Bridge of Spies.

I just saw Hotel Transylvania 2 and it has probably the best bad piece of dialogue I've heard all year. The following line is delivered in 100% sincerity by Mavis (Selena Gomez) to her father Dracula (Adam Sandler):

Who is Adam and why do I care if he ruins everything?

Her had such a fantastic, melancholy and thoughtful trailer. Playing the excellent The Moon Song in it was a stroke of genius.

Massive apologies to you, fellow Marvel nerd LoveWaffle, I posted about the Guardians teaser above this post prior to seeing you had already posted about it. I'll edit my post to give you proper credit! :D
